So WonderCon has come and gone! And I'm finally back in New York!
What a blur of a week that was. This WonderCon was the first time I was selling my comic Legend at any place. And I was pretty surprised at how it did.
I was kinda expecting the worst, so the fact that I moved the amount of books that I did was a super pleasant surprise.
The above image, just happens to be the best cosplay ever by the way. This family was soooooo awesome!!! And I LOVE that they had all the little details down like the corn on the cob, the orphan chips. And you just gotta love the family getting together to do something like this.
But back to the con. It was amazing seeing old friends. It was amazing meeting some of the Legend Kickstarter backers! And then of course it's always amazing making new friends at these shows. All the kind words for Legend mean a lot more than you can imagine.
If you are still hoping to get a copy of Legend, never fear, the internet is here! If you'd like to get your own copy of Legend, just go HERE.
Now I'll stop talking and let you scroll through some of the pics I took. Truth is, I just didn't take enough. Things just get too busy to try and keep track of taking pics when you should. But hopefully these will give you an idea of how much fun it all was.
Always awesome meeting one of my heroes, Eric Nakamura of Giant Robot!
My cousin's son....Tyson. This kid is so damn cute. And he truly believes he IS Batman! And he is...
Some of my good friends that I got to see, Michael Velasquez and Michael Heu.
This one kinda cracked me up the most. This dude came in different cosplay of the same character with the only difference being how bright the costume was. His personality was electric as you can see from the pics.
This girl Arista is something else. First you gotta love Asian American cosplay. Second, you gotta love home made cosplay. I first met her as Silk, which she apparently won a cosplay contest with. She then came on Sunday as a character from Ghost in the Shell. And honestly...it was creepy and scary how she kinda glided over to me. So cool!
And I'll leave you with this final cheers to Anaheim! What a great week and an amazing start to this years con season. Next up for me is The Five Points Con in New York May 20 & 21!
